WWII ARTIFACTS: Donation of Relic of Imperial Japanese Army Type 90 Steel Combat Helmet and Occupation Currency

2023 Bamban Historical Society Bamban WWII Museum Center for Pacific War Studies

Our sincere thanks and appreciation to Joseph Daniel Timbol and his company for the donation of Japanese Type 90 helmet to Bamban Museum.

Said Type 90 was recovered by a farmer from Consolacion, Cebu and most probably used by a Japanese soldier belonging to the Imperial Japanese 35th Army under the command of General Sozaku Suzuki, and was left in the former battlefield.

It has the serial number still visible inside the helmet upon close inspection. In addition, a set of Japanese Occupation moneys were also donated for the WWIII Museum. For a complete educational experience on WWII History, visit our Bamban Museum.
