UNVEILING THE FIRST NATIONAL HISTORICAL MARKER FOR BAMBAN

With Director Carminda Arecalo of the National history Commission of the Philippines and former commissioner Dr. Lino L. Dizon and representatives from the Bamban LGU, the first official national historical marker of Bamban was unveiled.



This historic town, became the Capital of the Philippine Republic in 1899 as well as the headquarters of General Emilio Aguinaldo.

Photos show scenes of the ceremony held on July 4, 2024 at the former municipal hall, where the marker is placed.
