Unveiling the National Historical Marker as General Aguinaldo’s HQ and Capital 1899
On July 4, 2024, the National Historical Commission of the Philippines NHCP, with delegates from the Bamban LGU, Bamban Historical Society/Bamban WWII Museum and witnessed by various representatives from Local Government agencies and civil society, made the unveiling of the first National Historical Marker.
It highlights the role of Bamban as one of the Philippine Republic capital and General Emilio Aguinaldo’s headquarters. With Dr. Lino L. Dizon, it has become our advocacy on the recognition of Bamban as a Capital of the Philippine Republic 1899.
As the one who made the design, layout and had given meaning of symbolism of Bamban’s Corporate Seal, I integrated the role of this town into our Nation’s History with the flag and symbol of General Emilio Aguinaldo.
