A new sets of remains of suspected Japanese war dead are now in the safekeeping of Bamban WWII Museum. The remains were actually recovered from a Japanese cemetery in Dampul near Calang Mountains in late 1980s; part of 17th Naval Combat Sector of Kembu Group in 1945.

An official letter was already sent to Japan Ministry of Labor, Health and Welfare of these remains at Bamban Museum.
