EXPLORING THE JAPANESE WAR TUNNELS OF BAMBAN HILLS – バンバンヒルズ(フィリピン)にある日本の大東亜戦争トンネルを探索。

The town is an historical place in military history, in the wars of our ancestors and elders, from the Philippine-American War 189-1902 to WWII.

The strategic location of Bamban and the hills overlooking the transport roads both the railway and wagon road and highways made it of high military importance. Generals and soldiers fought between Filipinos and Americans, and Filipinos and Japanese in the two wars.

We have been researching of what remains of these battlefields and preserve and promote history as happened. Our elders fought from among these battlefields.

Bamban is now famous for its war tunnels, made more famous by the activities of our Group from Bamban Historical Society and Bamban WWII Museum in the past couple of decades. That objective continuous, at some point even finding remains of the war dead.

The photos show part of our field recon in Bamban Hills, in the pursuit of that objective. Our WWII Battlefield Tours can be avail, for an experience in History; only the Bamban WWII Museum can offer.
