Letter to Sangguniang Bayan – Bamban Requesting for the Declaration of January 23 as Bamban WWII Liberation Day
It has been our advocacy at the Bamban WWII Museum and the Historical Society to perpetuate the memory and heroism of our WWII veterans especially those from Bamban who are considered as Heroes. From 2004 to 2006, our organization held ceremonies for the Bamban WWII Liberation Day every January 23 to give honor, recognition and respect to our local WWII veterans.
In cooperation with the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office PVAO, and other concerned agencies, office and institutions, we aspire to have an annual commemoration of the important event with our Bamban LGU through an SB Resolution.
We just hope our Sangguniang Bayan and the Bamban LGU will support our endeavor.
